This was my first Ghan House wedding, and it didn’t disappoint! It’s a lovingly restored Georgian House, with wonderful views over Carlingford Lough.  Ghan House was named in One Fab Day 100 Best Wedding Venues 2013, which is a guide to the finest venues across Ireland!  Needless to the say the food was AMAZING!

Anyway, before I get distracted by the food, let me tell you a bit about the day! Kerry walked the short distance from Ghan House to the heritage centre to marry her groom.  After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a drinks reception on the lawn, with the added bonus of glorious sunshine!

I loved that the speeches took place on the lawn, before everybody enjoyed an exquisite meal.  The venue was just perfect for those who are looking for something a bit different and individual.

It was a time of family celebration, and it was wonderful to be a part of it!
