It was a day of sunshine and snow- Emma and Steven’s Drenagh wedding has hit the blog!
AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY
It was a brave move, planning a St Patricks’ day outdoor ceremony -we know what the weather in Northern Ireland can be like! But boy did it pay off! Emma and Steven’s love for the great outdoors meant The Moon Garden at Drenagh Estate was a perfect place for them to get married. As they exchanged their vows, flurries of snow were falling. Thankfully the bridesmaids had a furry blanket to keep them warm!
AN ADVENTUROUS COUPLE
They vowed to love, honour and adventure together. Emma and Stephen’s sense of adventure is evident. Check out their North Coast adventure session here.
THEIR GUESTS WERE ENTERTAINED
The bride and groom provided lots of entertainment for their guests. Everyone gathered to watch rugby on the big screen. Some important match was happening, apparently! They also provided board games, an idea that I loved! Being a slightly competitive person (ahem), I couldn’t resist joining in for a round of Logo game. Have you played it?
DRENAGH WEDDING WITH SPEECHES ON THE STAIRS
Drenagh Estate is one of my favourite venues! There are so many features, from the Moon Garden, to the beautiful Georgian Mansion House. Speeches were held on the staircase, with a whiskey toast. The best man went a bit far in his speech, but sure isn’t that what they’re there for?
Check out the gallery below for some of my favourites from their day!
