What an honour it is to be asked to be part of one of the best days of your lives!
Your job is to be joyously in love among your favourite people, my job is to pin down both the big moments (first kiss, anyone?) and those fleeting, emotion-filled little moments. Like your dad making a bacon sandwich in the morning, or the reassuring hand squeeze you give each other before you exchange vows, or the cringing at the inappropriate jokes of the best man!
I photograph your day as it unfolds, and I love the way emotions are played out in the smiles, tears, crinkled noses and cackles of laughter of your nearest and dearest! Most of the time you won’t notice I am there, as I capture the day as it happens and let the guests be their own brilliant selves.
When it comes to the two of you, I like to take some time out for portraits. Still relaxed, nothing fussy, but some private moments away from the crowds to capture the two of you together. I look for beautiful light and interesting backgrounds, hidden corners of the venue and the nearby surroundings to create images that you’ll love.
FULL DAY COVERAGE
Want to capture all the moments of your wonderful day? No problem, I’m not clock watching! I offer full day coverage, from getting ready right up to the first dance. This means that the whole story of your day is told through your photos.
I love getting to know my clients, and that’s why I include a pre-wedding shoot in my packages. A few months before the wedding we head out to a location that reflects you as a couple and get some gorgeous shots of you both. It’s a fun and relaxed session and is a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera. I sometimes hear the words “Oh, I’m really awkward in front of the camera”, but by the end of the session that is all forgotten. Result! That means it’s one less thing to worry about on your wedding day, as you know what to expect and you trust me to help you look fabulous.
